Want to make a bit of extra cash with minimal effort? We do our best to align our incentives with yours, so please check out the various ways you can receive bonuses below.

Review Bonus - $50

Many families are happy to leave positive reviews for BMT when you do a good job working with their kids.

You will receive $50 for a positive review when a family you are working with leaves a review on Google places or Yelp.

There are a few ways to get families to leave a review, so please see the Asking Families for Reviews page for more details.

Client Referral Bonus - $100

Do families you work with have friends who might be interested in our services?

If so, and if you feel comfortable, please (gently) suggest to parents that they refer our company to their friends and acquaintances. You can often do this by asking them if they know anybody who might benefit from our services. (We may add more suggestions here regarding how you might want to ask for referral.)

For every family referred to us on your behalf, you’ll receive a $100 bonus. If you happen to work with a well-connected family, you can make out quite well.

Client Referral Bonus – Earn for Bringing in New Families

We know that sometimes a family may refer you directly to another family instead of going through BMT. While it might be tempting to take on the new client independently, our tutor agreement requires that all referred clients go through BMT.

That said, we want to make sure referring new families through us is worthwhile for you.

How It Works:

If a family comes to you directly, simply let them know that you’d love to work with them, but they’ll need to sign up through BMT. As a thank-you, you’ll receive an increased rate for that client.

Your Referral Bonus:

✔ You’ll earn an extra 15% from our margin for every session with the referred client.

✔ If your normal rate is $90 per hour, the rate for this client would be $101 per hour.

✔ This bonus applies for the entire time you work with that client.

Tutor Referral Bonus - $200

Do you know someone who is an amazing tutor? Send them our way!

You will receive a $200 bonus for a tutor who passes our screening process and starts working with one family.

Good tutors are very rare, so please don't take it personally if potential tutors you recommend don't pass our screening process.

Please direct potential tutors to our tutor application page and make sure they let us know that you referred them.
