Asking Parents for Reviews
Asking Parents for Review
If you'd like to make a few extra $$ with minimal effort, please help promote Brooklyn Math Tutors by directing satisfied clients to leave us a review on Google. You’ll receive a $50 review bonus per family that have left a review on our Google business. Leaving Google reviews is easiest for customers who have a Gmail account.

The best time to ask for a review is right after a positive event. For example:
- Student gets back a test with a much-improved grade
- Positive comments from parents regarding the student's attitude towards math
- Improved grade at the end of a marking period or a semester
How to Ask Parents for a Review
There are two ways to ask parents for a review.
Strategy 1.
The first is to let the BMT office know that a customer is happy and is likely to leave us a good review. The BMT Office will contact them and ask them to write one. If you'd like us to ask clients for you, just send us a quick note. Include details that I can use to reference the positive event. Something like this:
- "Johnny just got back his first math test that he didn't fail - mom is ecstatic. I think this would be a good time to ask for a review”
Strategy 2.
The second is to ask parents directly yourself. If you'd like to ask a customer directly by email and you want something to start from, let the BMT office know, and we can provide you with email templates. Leaving reviews is easiest for customers who have a Gmail account.

Either choice is fine and depends on your rapport with the client and your comfort level with asking directly.
